This is a great full day cycle along the Skellig Ring coastline with plenty of things to do along the way and plenty places to stop for a break including:

  1. Cahersiveen Town, Marina and Heritage Centre at the Old Barracks
  2. Ballycarbery Castle, Cahergal and Leacanabuaile Ancient Stone Forts 
  3. The Kerry Way walking trail (130km) – the world’s best long hike
  4. Portmagee Village and Boat trip to the Skellig Islands
  5. Valentia Island – Skellig Experience Heritage Centre and many other attractions
  6. Coomanaspig Mountain scenic viewing spot
  7. Bolus Head loop walk
  8. Ballinskelligs Blue Flag Beach and Castle
  9. Skellig’s Chocolate factory
