Killary Harbour is one of only three glacial Fjords found in Ireland, the others being Lough Swilly and Carlingford Lough. Located on the border of county Mayo and Galway it has a length of 16kms and a depth of 45mtrs in the centre.

Killary Harbour is a Discovery Point on The Wild Atlantic Way scenic drive with unrivalled views and spectacular mountains rising from the waters edge on the Mayo side. With many activities in the area including walks, cycles and watersports, there are also a large variety of birds can be found here with ducks, swans and Mallard and seals and dolphins can be seen in the waters.
