The 1,000 acres of formal gardens contain Irelands tallest tree, a 55m (180ft) high Sitka Spruce; Irelands oldest bridge, King John's Bridge built in 1025 across the Clodagh River and also The Shell House built in 1751 containing shells from all over the world. Curraghmore House and Gardens is located near Portlaw in Co Waterford and is only a few minutes drive east of the Comeragh Mountains Scenic Drive on the R678.
