Ballyhiernan bay and beach is on the Fanad Peninsula in north west of Co Donegal, Ireland and is a Discovery Point on the Wild Atlantic Way. Ballyhiernan Bay is divided into 3 smaller bays, one of which, Trabane is the most Westerly. This entire sandy beach is over 2.5km long and is backed by sand dunes with rocky headlands on either side.
