It’s summertime in Leitrim, which means it’s time for the Annual South Leitrim 80km Cycle! This wonderful event is a huge fundraiser for North West Hospice and is a great, fun day out for all the family. 2014 will be the 7th year of The South Leitrim 80km Cycle which has been an outstanding success every year. To date, this cycle has succeeded in raising over €150,000 for charities with over €130,000 going to North West Hospice. 
 

The South Leitrim 80km Cycle has a focus on enjoyment and fun and has become embedded in the local communities since it started in 2007.

The race is primarily aimed at amateurs of all ages who may not have been on a bike in years. Everything from a 'High Nellie' to Tandem Bikes can be used on the day!
80km is a challenge, but it’s very rewarding and fun, with lots of ‘refreshment’ stops along the way and a barbeque to refuel at the end!

+ Route: Mohill – Ballinamore – Drumshanbo – Leitrim Village – Carrick – Dromod – Mohill
