InishowenHeritage.ie website has information and a photo for this site and suggest that local tradition says that 'a Dane was buried here' and in fact Viking bracelets were found at the site in 1966 which are now in the National Museum.  The standing stone is 2.3m tall and there is road signage to direct you to its location.
