Randalstown Forest Nature Reserve located in county Antrim, Northern Ireland.  Randalstown Forest extends over 172 hectares and is a mixed conifer forest that contains an owl conservation centre called World of Owls Centre, a Deer Park, a wildfowl refuge area and several marked walking routes on the shores of Lough Neagh.  The forest is a great spot for nature and Bird Watching.  The forest is mainly planted with Sitka Spruce, Norway spruce and European Larch with smaller areas of broadleaf varieties of trees were also planted including oak, elm, and ash.

It was originally a deer park belonging to the Shane’s Castle estate. This is a working forest environment so the walks may be subject to diversion and closure from time to time.
