The stunning Mountain Stage scenic viewing spot is on a cliff top section of the world famous Ring of Kerry ‘must do’ scenic tourist drive in County Kerry, in the south west of Ireland. This viewing spot looks out over Dingle Bay and the Dingle Peninsula with Rossbeigh and Inch beaches on your right and the mountains in the background.

This famous drive is a 180 to 200km loop starting from Killarney, heading clockwise around the Iveragh Peninsula to avoid any delays from Tour Buses which MUST travel anti-clockwise around the Ring of Kerry due to the narrow roads. The official Ring of Kerry route uses a fairly boring road from Caherciveen to Waterville which is a great pity because you ‘miss’ the ‘unmissable’ Skellig Ring scenic drive which takes in the wonderful Valentia Island accessed by ferry and bridge, the picturesque Portmagee and Ballinskelligs with its great Blue Flag beach and all things these places offer.  Valentia Island is a holiday in itself with all the things to see and do, so don’t miss it. The one thing you shouldn't do is to complete the drive on one day as you will miss so much.
