The Loop Head to Kilbaha Loop Walk is a 4 to 5 hour (15km) strenuous loop walk from the Lighthouse car park to Kilbaha along the peninsulas southern coastline and returning along the spectacular sea cliffs on the northern coastline. You will visit Diarmaid and Grainne’s Rock, Cuchulainn’s Leap, ringforts, a Napoleonic Gun Battery, promontory forts, World War 2 look out posts, WW2 EIRE sign, beaches, The Church of the Little Ark, Kilbaha Bay and much more. The flora and fauna of the area is of great interest and it is one of Europes best Bird Watching spot. 
 
Loop Head Lighthouse, Co. Clare, Ireland, Wild Atlantic Ways for migratory birds. The geology of the area has also attracted significant attention for over 100 years with many spectacular formations, sea stacks and other features.
