Garretstown Beach simetimes confused with Garrylucas Beach (White Strand) is a great sandy blue flag beach located near the Old Head of Kinsale in south co. Cork, Ireland. It is great for swimming, walking, surfing and other watersports. Access to the beach is by ramps and steps. Garretstown is located near Kilcolman Marsh and The Old Head of Kinsale and within a short distance of Ballinspittle village and Garylucus Beach. Public parking and toilets are provided adjacent to the beach and lifeguards are on duty on weekends during the bathing season (lifeguard times are displayed on the information noticeboard at the beach). Wheelchair access is provided.
