The Castledonovan Loop Walk is a 4 hour (11km) walking route marked by a blue arrow starting at Castledonovan car park. Passing the Castle built by the O'Donovans in the 1560. Continuing along a quiet country road before turning off the road to climb the east side of Mullaghmesha Mountain (494m) where on reaching the summit there are spectacular views of Bantry and Dunmanus Bays. Passing Coomanore Lake before returning to Castledonovan Car Park by the old Bog road.
