The Cahersiveen Cycling Loop is a great 30km (18 mile) family friendly full day route on quiet country roads just off the famous Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way. This Loop route connects to the upcoming Greenway walk and cycle route from Glenbeigh to Cahersiveen. Below is a sample of the attractions, side trips and activities on the route: 

  1. Knocknadobar Mountain and Ancient Pilgrimage Path 
  2. Coonanna Harbour – beautifully secluded and remote harbour
  3. Cahersiveen Old Railway Bridge
  4. Ballycarbery Castle, 
  5. Cahergal and Leacanabuaile Ancient Stone Forts 
  6. Cuas Crom Harbour
  7. White Strand Blue Flag Beach
  8. Dolus Head Walking Loop
