A Heritage trail on the Skellig Coast is located at the Waterville Craft Market (500m outside the village on the N70). This Trail is an Information point, Museum and Gallery all rolled into one. It consists of 120 decorative outdoor panels, and shows a host of things to see and do in the Skellig Coast Region. Located in pleasant scenic surroundings the trail overlooks the Transatlantic Cable Station, Ballinskelligs Bay and the landing place of the first successful Gaelic Invasion of Ireland. These panels cover many aspects of local heritage, with information on a host of places. The perfect place to relax, savour the heritage, and plan where to visit and things to do during your time in the Skellig Coast region.
