Slieve League cliffs are one of the highest and finest marine cliffs in Europe and is a Discovery Point on the Wild Atlantic Way scenic drive along the west coast of Ireland. There are terrific views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Sligo Mountains and Donegal Bay as you walk towards the terrifyingly high top of Sliabh League, where the cliff face of Bunglas rises over 600m above the raging ocean. Experienced walkers only should venture beyond the viewing point onto One Man's Pass which loops around onto the Pilgrim's Path. Irelands highest cliffs are Croaghaun sea cliffs (688 metres or 2,257 ft), the highest in Ireland and third highest in Europe are located at the western end of Achill Island, Co. Mayo.
